The Office of Graduate Student Life seeks a Graduate Assistant for Graduate Student Communications to coordinate and provide communications for graduate students in order to foster campus community, cross-disciplinary interaction, and improvements in the quality of life for graduate students.

Responsibilities include managing "on time" communication of services and programs to graduate students, maintaining the Graduate Student Life and Graduate Student Life Handbook websites, producing online and print publications, conducting regular audits of information provided for graduate students, producing and coordinating marketing plans, and helping implement services for graduate students.

Must be enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program at the University of Maryland. Experience in web design, specifically with HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Adobe Photoshop required. Experience with PHP and MySQL preferred.

Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be detail oriented, possess initiative and problem solving skills, and have a genuine interest in serving campus peers.
