The Elections Committee supervises yearly GSG Executive Elections. The EC is in charge of setting up, assisting to generate interest in, and helping to facilitate GSG executive board elections.
The Elections Committee is looking for graduate students interested in serving as Program Representatives for the 31st Session of the GSG Assembly, which will begin in the fall.
Serving as a Program Representative involves attending the GSG Assembly Meeting each month (approx. 2 hours) and being part of one of the GSG's committees (a variable time commitment, typically several meetings per semester).

To vote in the GSG elections, follow these simple instructions:
To officially resign your Assembly position as a representative to your department, you need to send this letter into the GSG or the Elections committee.
To contact the committee, please email gsg-ec [at] umd [dot] edu or the Chair of the committee directly. To ask about the committee or to request membership in the committee, please contact the Vice President for Committee Affairs at gsg-vpca [at] umd [dot] edu.
