Shuttles will be taking students from Stamp Student Union to the College Park Community Center for Prince George's County Early Voting. This polling location is only for Prince George's County residents registered to vote in PG County. The shuttle will be picking up on Union Lane (across from entrance to the Union Lane Garage). The shuttle will be operating Wednesday October 31st, and Thursday November 1st. Pick up times will be 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The final shuttle will leave the community center to return students to campus at 7:45 PM each day. Early voting hours have been extended to 9:00 PM! Gov. O'Malley has issued an executive order extending the times early voting polling locations are open: they will now all be open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday October 31st to Friday November 2nd. "The Maryland Alumni Association has multiplied its scholarship offerings and expanded them beyond incoming students. Graduate Research Interaction Day 2012 will take place all day on April 11th 2012. This year session will include exciting presentations and posters from University of Maryland graduate students of diverse disciplines and backgrounds. Students will share their research, obtain valuable faculty and peer feedback, and hone their conference presentation skills within the comfort of their own campus environment. "Each year the President's Commission on Women's Issues (PCWI) honors outstanding women on our campus for their exemplary contributions to women and women's issues in higher education. These women will be featured at the 2012 Celebration of Women in March. The Department of Transportation Services will operate shuttle service to the Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Airport during major breaks. The Director of Operations (DoO) serves as the chief administrator of the GSG and its operations, and works closely with the GSG President and the Executive Committee. In consultation with the Vice President for Financial Affairs, the DoO administers the financial accounts of the organization, overseeing both its operating budget and procedures related to the event funding process. The Graduate Student Government (GSG) is hosting Graduate Research Interaction Day (GRID) on April 6, 2011. GRID provides an on-campus conference-style venue in which graduate students from all academic backgrounds can share their research, obtain valuable faculty and peer feedback, and hone their conference presentation skills within the comfort of their own campus environment. GRID fosters healthy competition among students by recognizing and awarding the best presentations from subject-themed oral and poster presentation sessions.
